met Daniele shortly after realizing that food
was the source of my daughter's problems in 2005.
Faced with a growing list of food exclusions,
I began to wonder what she could eat. Daniele
had no shortage of ideas. Not only does
she know the best tasting brands of gluten free
foods, but she always knows the latest allergy-friendly
products to hit the market. She gave me
lots of pointers on how to enhance recipes to
be more nutritious while avoiding the ingredients
we can't have like gluten, eggs and dairy. She
knows how to balance good taste and nutrition.
Keeping true to all our dietary restrictions has
not been easy. I'll always be grateful to Daniele
for picking up on my unknowing use of a forbidden
